poor kid...
i want my kid to know that life is not fair. if your life turns out anything like mine, then life is going to try an push you to the side. the trick is to push harder. not much will actually fall in your favor so you will have to do with what you have and work hard for everything else. and getting used to hard work early is a good thing. the more used to it you become and the easier some aspects of life will be. it may sound selfish, but always assume your wrong and dad is right. if you know you are right for sure, then keep it to yourself. it just goes over much smoother for you in the long haul. oh ya, it is also better to learn from other peoples mistakes, even though you will want to have the experiences yourself.

week 7
i have had several frightening moments. not many have actually been fun scary. there have been times that i was safe but still terrified. i was 7 and going to the arch with my dad and sister. i am bad with heights and the elevator swings the entire way. so you are basically a long ways up in a small metal box that sways 45 degrees. most of the other times were all with my father. i have been inside combines when they start up. i mean my entire body inside one huge moving machine. i also almost lost my right arm while trying to clean out a feeder house that was clogged with wet wheat and my dad turned it on, unknowing that i had my arm in. lucky it started slow so i had time to pull my arm out.
